Common Ground Estate & Property Management Ltd are delighted to announce that founder and managing director Alan Draper was awarded the Wratislaw legal prize at the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Residential Property Management. The prize is awarded for the best legal paper in the member exam which Mr Draper sat in 2016.

Upon receipt of the award in front of 400 fellow property professionals, Andrew Bulmer, CEO of the IRPM said the following about Mr Draper’s paper “Thorough and detailed answers which were clearly presented demonstrating a reflective and analytical application of both statute and regulations. Made good use of relevant case law, the companies act, data protection legislation and accounting regulations to support answers.”

“As an outsider and relative newcomer to the property management industry (Mr Draper set up Common Ground in October 2008), I am delighted to have been recognised by the industry. I set up Common Ground as I believed there were better ways to manage residential leasehold property and this award and the continued growth of Common Ground is a vindication of this.”
